MR.,
Have you seen the orange stitching in person? I like the way the center of the seats look in orange, but from pics it seems to clash with the M colored stitching of the steering wheel and the M seat belt stitching. I think the blue goes better, but is too much in the center of the seats. BMW always finds a way to take a tasteful implementation and ruin it somehow. |

You never win with the belts and the steering wheel. There is also red in there that does not fit. I will swap my wheel for a M Performance wheel so it is what it is. In the end for me it is key it is orange, because of the wrap design that goes on the car, and blue would definitely not fit to that design hahaha. MR |

With 420 you have moved the high beam from Kafas to the eye under the central mirror. With sun band protection you have deletion of kafas. From my experience kafas is much much more better so evaluate to remove 420 and for example put driving assistant or 8th to be sure to have kafas. Why is better? Is better to get the fully functional of adaptive led, VLD and NGHB. Last topic evaluate the wireless charging in the near future all the phone will have this feature. |

Wireless charging I have on my phone, but I don't need the low voltage/amperage wireless charging in the arm rest LOL. Takes ages to charge. Get a RAVpower QC3.0 high voltage charger and get a decent cable and you charge waaaaaay faster your phone. Especially when it has QC3.0. My phone runs the Waze navigation system when I am driving and it is fitted in a phone holder in one of the cup two holders (preferably the left one). I never touch the crap internal navigation system in the iDrive since it is S.H.I.T. in comparison to Waze. MR |

....hold the phone. You can opt for the standard (current) M2 brakes? People were concerned about added weight from the larger brakes, not to mention the cost of looking after them. It sounds like someone not intending to track could eliminate that complexity if desired.

Android Auto is decent but it has its limitations still. It is also not available on BMWs, and mirror cast is nice but why look at the screen in the middle if you still have to push the controls on the phone screen and I have my phone 15 cm lower in the cup holder. If Android Auto was available I would have chosen it, but it is not so there is no reason for me to opt for it. MR |

Hey MR, Congrats on the build.
I got a question about the carbon tailgate. Whats the deal with the carbon area not painted where it says “M Performance” is that area simply an unpainted glossed out area? Can we request to paint the whole trunk one color? Thanks |
