It's more than that. There are a few videos on YouTube about it.

Black is GTS, blue is CS.
GTS is too over styled for my taste and for me the bulge is huge for no purpose whatsoever. Trying too hard IMHO. I can hear people now at cars and coffee asking what’s under the bulge…just air is the answer. Kinda like stuffing a sock in your pants.

This is a great question!

So many good choices. I’m going with an OEM carbon fiber roof…that doesn’t delaminate…since we’re just in pretend world!

But man I’d like some better wheels too…down the slippery slope I go…

Interesting that you see it that way. I think it's styled very similar to the fender and quarter bulges, and not overall bigger than the CS design, just different. I'm old enough to remember a time when a hood bulge meant something, but the GTS/CS isn't anything like those, so I never gave it a thought. I guess I also never really cared for comments at Cars and Coffee, but to each their own.

M2C/F82 seats. They look, feel, and hold you in SO MUCH better than the OG seats do

I’d want some Ferric 437m’s or maybe silver 763m or BBS wheels. That’d be excellent. But given that we just dropped $2800 USD on a new heat pump water heater here at home & a bunch on maintenance/repairs on the Forester, I don’t think new-to-me wheels are in my near future.

!!
I too remember cars that had a bulge for a reason which I guess is why it elicits such a response for me.

By no means am I ever concerned about others comments at shows. My comment here was more of reinforcing my point that it is overstyled for the motor it covers.

Thing is I really like the CS hood. Maybe I need professional help! 😜
