Didn’t for me. Had to go back to the shop three times and nearly 200 miles of driving. It’s not just mileage either, it’s type of driving. I guess the computer wants to see stop and go driving like in local traffic as well as sustained highway cruising.

- Go back to stock and ready the car each year for inspection.
- Get a high flow catted downpipe that won't trigger a CEL (Some high flow DP still cause a CEL, you can also get one with a GESI certified cat like the one AA sells but they are $$ because of the certification)
- stay catless and get one of those right angle O2 socket extenders that will hopefully trick the sensor to not trigger a CEL
The 90 degree spacer is a poor fit with the limited room. A 45 degree I found to be better fit on the S55 . I used a Racing Dynamics Mini O/2 Cat spacer to pass emissions with the Wagner 200 Cell Euro Cats. https://www.racdyn-usa.com/PROD/130+10+10+014.html

That's interesting since I have a mixed commute of 20 miles each way.

Always reset after about 33-35 miles roughly...

Not S55, but I’m running a 300-cell downpipe on my OG M2 and all I’ve ever had to do to get the O2’s ready for inspection is flash back to stock and drive around for 15min.

I used to think we had strict tests in the UK but we don't use any OBD connection in annual tests.

Just physical checks and EGA (exhaust gas analyser) check with sniffer.

I've got sport mid-cats only (decat dps) and they pass that test no problem when warm.
