Assuming the reduced air flow doesn't make a difference - is there a way to verify this?

I don't think they reduce enough to create a problem, but I'll verify it on the track.

Details?

Specifically--

How do they mount? Do you drill into the bumper?

Part numbers?

Will they fit a M2C w/ no modification?

I've been lacking on the car lately (too much else going on in life), so I'm not "up to speed" on this topic.

TIA!

R.

I'm looking into buying this wheels for a f82 M4. What is the minimum camber you need to run this wheels without rubbing?

Part numbers:

I didn't drill holes in the bumper, I cut the tabs and used zip ties.

I had to make a few cuts with a cutter to insert these tabs, nothing more!

With stock suspension you need 25mm spacer and +-3.5° of negative camber.

With coilovers you can use 15mm spacer and +-3.0° of negative camber.

If u use regulable control arms you can go with less than 3° of negative camber.

Man I put mesh grills on my Macan GTS and those guys on that side of the forum would be up in arms saying how much airflow restriction these probably add. What a nutty group.

Haha! Nutty is right . On Rennslist there is a discussion about possible engine wear caused by the poor air from the Canadian wild fires. One 992 owner won't start his car and he installed an air filtration system in his garage. A slightly less neurotic Porsche owner wrote that he won't exceed 4,000 rpm unless air quality index is below 125.

God forbid the next owner finds out it was driven through wildfire smoke.

It's great to have someone out there thinking outside the box. Asking things like... Why do we need this, when we can do this?

It's been my belief from the beginning that the 2nh caliper is quite capable. Especially when paired with CCB. Now that it can be paired with a smaller more efficient iron rotor to run 18" wheels is great.

Now if only the CCB rotors cost as much as the iron.
