2015 Renault RS275R  [9.50]
2019 Renault RS280  [10.00]
2017 BMW M2  [10.00]
2018 Audi Q2  [5.50]
Purchased my 2017 M2 almost 12 months ago now, as new with just 7000ks on it.
As with many I like to improve & personalize my cars, so I thought I'd post a few pics & put together a brief list of what I've added for those interested in modifying.
Cosmetic mods are always subjective & some mods add to durability, whilst some offer incremental improvements that all add up to improve the car overall, thus I have assigned *recommended* to the mods that imo provided a substantial improvement to the car/driving experience in their own right.
Maximum bang for buck is always a priority so many of the parts used are sourced non-genuine & aside from paint I perform all the labour, thus I am able to complete quite a lot for a modest outlay.
I always try to achieve an OEM look when modifying my cars & ive tried to follow a 'GTS' style theme with my M2...

Exterior:
Carbon fender vents
Carbon grills
Carbon mirror caps
Smoked sequential mirror indicators
Carbon diffuser
Aluminium GTS bonnet - *recommended*
Carbon front splitter
Black rear reflector inserts
Carbon rear hi-kick spoiler
Sapphire black painted roof
Carbon roof fin
Black badging
Carbon side skirts
Tinted windscreen sunstrip - *recommended*

Interior:
Custom Cobra Nogaro seats w/electric slide & lumbar - *recommended*
V2 steering wheel
3D alloy shift paddles - *recommended*
Carbon steering wheel inlay
Blue starter & M buttons
P3 vent gauge - *recommended*
Carbon dct knob
Alcantara dash pod cover
Carbon handbrake knob
BMW puddle lights
Carbon/alcantara console inlay
Idrive M badge
Custom extinguisher & KAP bracket
F30 auto brake pedal - *recommended*
Pedalhaus alloy pedal pads - *recommended*
Schroth 'qik-fit' harness (track use only)
Carbon dash inlay
Carbon window switches

Engine:
Bm3 stage 2 tune - *recommended*
Alloy charge pipes
Wagner 200cel downpipe - *recommended*
Dinan mid pipe/res delete - *recommended*
Wagner Evo2 intercooler
AFEpower intake & grill duct - *recommended*
Lithium battery
Alloy oil filter housing with heatsink
Alloy oil & fuel caps
Carbon engine cover
CS dct, steering, diff, dsc, re-flash

Suspension & Brakes:
Bilstein B6 dampers - *recommended*
H&R springs - *recommended*
Powerflex sway bar bushes
KCD front & rear alloy bracing
Ferodo DS2500 brake pads - *recommended*
HEL braided brake lines
Custom finished brake calipers

Wheels & Tyres:
Road - 20" 666M wheels & PS4S tyres
Track - 19" 437M wheels & AR1 semi slicks

Thank you

The shipping quote to canada is more than the cost of the item! They want 540 cad, was it that expensive for you?

You don't list that iDrive Control Knob? Does it work like the OEM version (can you write letters on it)?

Your car is just fantastic. If I could change one thing it'd be the wheels to 19's instead of 20's. They look really fantastic on your car.

Thank you for that, appreciate it.
Yes lots of negative stuff written on this forum about 20's, I have them on 2 of my cars & honestly notice no difference to the 19's except they look better imo.
I have smaller wheels & semis & slicks for track use where it actually matters.
People said the same thing when I was fitting 16's to cars that came with 14's & when fitting 18's to cars that came with 16's etc.
The whole smaller/bigger wheel thing is totally overblown for road cars imo. There are positives & negatives to both & despite what many armchair experts think it's not a black or white answer.

It's the aluminium GTS hood, I got mine from aliexpress but it's the same as the suvneer one & most the others.
It's lighter weight, extracts heat, fits great & looks good so I'm pleased with it.

Oh I'm with you there, I'm the same type of guy, I ran slicks on the street on my Lotus for 3 Summers when all the Lotus guys said that the car would just immediately explode. I was just saying that visually a silver 20" wheel is a bit too much for me on the M2. Black wheels are a different story. I'd love to see your car with the same wheels but in the shadow finish they had, I think it'd be quite a different story.

Any reason you didn't go for the CF version?

The carbon versions vary greatly in quality, also the factory gts hoods were aluminium so thats what i prefer.

Nice! Do you have a part number or link? Car looks great overall but I like the unique touches like control knob and the black fire extinguisher.

TargaM2 Are you able to access the back seats with the fixed buckets installed...if so, at what level of contorsion?

Considering installing some myself.

If you slide seats completely forward you can just squeeze in.
For me my car is a 2 seater club/track car & i will likely add a half cage sometime soon.
If you want to retain the rear seat usability i’d advise you go for a folding 2 piece seat, the drawback is you can’t use a 2 piece seat with a harness in some levels of Motorsport.
