Finally saw my first LBB today. I knew everyone said photos didn't capture the true color and that statement couldn't be more true. The one I saw was in the shade mostly but all I could think was 'wow this looks nothing like the photos!"

So what did you think? I finally saw it yesterday and totally agree it looks different. More teal like, but looked awesome overall. It's was rainy when I saw it. More torn between LBB and BSM now... only a week or two left to decide.

I think it comes down to personal preference and two other things. 1. With LBB the car will get a lot of attention. Everywhere I go most people could care less about what kind of BMW but are awestruck by the color. 2. BSM is pretty rare to my knowledge (This is the only color M2 I haven't seen yet) and resale wise it may hold its value slightly more

Haven't seen a MSG either. Seen every other color but I'm in NY so no car is rare here. I come from a history of only silver/grey and black cars. I absolutely love LBB

Appreciate the response. I have a black 335i currently, and I love the black, but I also think changing it up might be nice. I might keep the 335i for my daily driver since I drive around 20k miles per year. If I keep my current car, I would rather have LBB in the garage I think. Also like the idea of BSM being a rarer M2, but I've yet to randomly see ANY M2 on the road (metro Atlanta area).

Agree it's personal preference. My M2 is MG and I'm 100% happy with the selection.

Personally, I don't like white, black is gorgeous but I don't like the upkeep part of owning a black car and worst of all I don't like how easily it shows blemishes.

That left LBB and MG. Again back to personal preference, I'm a more under the radar/less flashy kind of guy so grey it was.

I like blue but I was really shocked by how turquoise it looked and how different it looked from all the pictures. Not that it was bad but it totally didn't meet my expectations and I wasn't immediately liking what I was seeing so for me it just confirmed that I made the best choice that suited my style.
