I am going to get some coil overs installed in the next few months and looking for a good shop to do a proper track alignment. Maybe corner balancing but not necessary. Just looking for someone that knows the platform and does good work and is not super far from me, I don't mind driving a bit for somewhere really good but also honest.

Forgot about Tyspeed, its a bit too far for me though unfortunately.

As far as ACM, their shop looks nice but was not sure that they do more track focus alignments and corner balancing so its good to know and they are not to far from where I want to get the coilovers installed.

Have had good experience at Tire & Wheel Performance Center (www.tirewheelpro.net). Don't think they do corner balancing, but believe they work on a lot of enthusiast and track cars.

Unfortuntely yes, about 3 hours. I live in the catskills.

I'm not sure what your tracking situation is but FWIW
I don't think corner balancing is worth the cost unless you are solo in the car.
If you're doing HPDE days and have instructors in and out of the car, your corner balance is compromised.

I will be solo. Only reason why I might not do it yet is I dunno if I am at a level that will benefit from corner balancing/be nice to see how the coilovers improve the car and then next year do a corner balance to see the difference.

CATskills - how fitting, I should have known . If you want I can check with people I know in Binghampton if that is closer, but probably better to have the people putting in your coilovers do it all at one time for you.

Yeah Catskills, lovely place and would not trade it for anywhere else (got a lot of tracks nearby, lime rock an hour, ny safety track an hour, palmer 2 hours, thomson 2 hours) but of course no shops I would take it to around here.

I agree that would be nice to do it all in one but I really like the guy in Jersey and would like to give him my business, great mech, honest and very nice. But this will of course add a bit of a headache since I have to go to a couple places.

Other place I am considering (and this would be for both install and alignment ) would be Munich Motorsports in connecticut. 2 hours from me and would just get both done at the same time or mchanics, I met the owner and they have tons of good reviews and do a lot of track cars but this is in Long Island also 2 hours away but also would just get everything done. I just want to make sure the coilovers get installed and then aligned properly the first time so I don't have to drive hours again to get stuff changed or fixed.

I had an alignment done about 20,000 miles ago. My fronts are showing extreme wear on the inside shoulder. Is this normal? What mileage is expected on stock tires?

what tires?

but 20kmiles is pretty damn good for a set of tires (specially the back tires on this platform lol). But maybe a good time to get an alignment after getting new tires put on

michelin ps4... I would say maybe a little less than 20k miles, but its more so how they are wearing. So much good rubber left on 3/4 of the tire, I feel like I'm not utilizing the full grip the tire can offer, for how I use the car since I don't track it (yet).
I need to measure my ride height, as I think the front could be too low, but also too much toe out. New tires and an alignment once this snow is all gone and some warmer weather shows up.
