It arrived in port on 06/09. No it was not part of the recall.
For reference this is the entire timeline. It has a table so you cannot view on mobile. https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...33&postcount=3 |

Lucky! Mine was also completed on 5/17, but it just updated to “In Transit” today. Guessing 2-3 more weeks before I have it in my hands.

All of you that didn't have the recall are lucky to not have experienced the agonizing month-long wait while our cars sat with no fix in sight.... my car completed in March, which arrived port side in the US in April... still hasn't made it to the dealership! BUT, I finally got a call that it'll be here tomorrow

What's the time from order to delivery everyone's seeing? My dealer says 6 weeks or so, which I find hard to believe.

How many days are you guys seeing from arrival at US port to delivery at your dealer?
Mine just arrived in Brunswick earlier this morning and will be headed to my dealer in Florida. |

I assume it also depends on how far you live from the port, but if all goes accordingly then I think it's about 7-10 days from port to dealership. |

I was quoted 7-10 weeks. Mine ended up being about 9 weeks (ordered on 4/14 and going to take deliver 6/14). It depends on the build week for your allocation and where you are in the US. I’m in the north east and I think a good rule of thumb is 1 month after your car is actually built for this area. Hope this helps.

Did anyone else's tracking revert back to "At the port" after arriving at CONUS? My CA confirmed my car was on a boat and I'm pretty hopeful my car was offloaded at Brunswick because the boat is now on its way back to Bremerhaven.
It's a peculiar choice to allow the tracking graphic to revert backward, because it seems intuitively obvious that it is sure to elicit questions and concern from impatient customers. Mentioning it may provide solace to anyone else observing the the same phenomenon in their tracking graphic. I have no reason to believe my car is not at the Brunswick VPC preparing for a piggy-back ride to the dealer. Anything is possible though, so my car's status will be revealed in my future posts. |

I assume it'll go back to "in transit" when it's on a truck. |
