Been driving it a bit - like it more than the first couple days - but still wanna sell. Asking $60k (first service done today at a little over 900 miles. This does have the extended service agreement that is fully transferable to subsequent owner - which includes brakes (pads and rotors) and clutch if required.

not in AZ. We do not pay taxes on private auto sales as long as taxes had initially been paid.

In Arizona you aren't taxed on a used vehicle purchased private party as long as it was already registered and taxes paid when purchased new.

WHICH makes ABSOLUTE sense...why are States allowed to DOUBLE tax a product...so dumb (CA) ... I've already paid WAY too much in INCOME tax to CA...the use-tax for used cars is INSANITY

Washington state does the same thing. Sales tax on used vehicles. Plus in the Puget Sound area our tabs are ridiculous. My tabs on my M2 was over $700 and that was for a one year old car.

Yeah but I bet you would have to pay annual property tax on it...

Idk about Arizona, but in Florida you're not double taxed when a vehicle is bought used and taxes have been already paid on it, and there are no property taxes on vehicles. Whether a property tax is charged or not I think it's pretty unfair for a state to double tax the sale of any item. It's basically a racket!

California has too many programs to fund with tax payers dollars. They're always trying to figure out how to get more money from the people who actually pay taxes. Last week they proposed a tax on text messages. I think the FCC shot them down so I'm sure they'll think of something else.

GLWYS to the OP.

Yes, it was roughly $1,000 to register my 2018 M2 for one year in AZ. It'll go down roughly 15% a year as its based on a formulaic value of your car.

OP, great car, GLWS!

Hope you can see it OP it's a great car!

I'd hop on this deal if I was in the market for the m2C, but I'm not a huge fan of the S55.

Post some pics!

Yes you sure are. Florida repetitive taxes just like the worst of them. Every single time you register a newly purchased used car in Florida, you pay sales tax on it. The only exception is if you trade in the car to a dealer, the trade value is deducted. But, for private party sales, you pay full sales tax. If the car had 7 owners over its life in Florida, then sales tax was collected 7 times for the same exact car. Its just wrong.

Dang that's rough. Fortunately where I live in Canada private sales aren't taxed.
