Theoretically I have an allocation elsewhere, but the folks I've been dealing with at the dealership have been sooo incredibly mediocre it beggars belief they are in the selling cars business.
BMW of Fremont has two HS M2s in stock. They are willing to sell them for MSRP.

Been calling all local dealerships, none are budging on price. All are selling for sticker. Grats to all you guys who managed to get 5% or better!

Thanks for the heads up @Mr. Maboomba
As luck would have it I just swept the West Coast this afternoon after thinking I had an instock LBB in Socal fall in my lap. Instead placed at order at Monterey BMW.

I'm paying the Norcal tax (ie. msrp) that others managed to avoid, but after dealing with waaaaaay too many dealers my stamina was diminished

Looking forward to joining the gang of M2C owners!

For anyone ordering without the exec pack and counting on adaptive hex’s it’s not guaranteed you will get it even if it shows on your build sheet. I ordered without it and it showed on my build sheet on an LCI (some did get it). But when the car arrived it had the standard round LED’s. I wasn’t fussed as to me the round halos never went out of style and that was what I was expecting. Just sayin, it’s a gamble and you will probably have no recourse since you didn’t pay for it. That said, you will probably get it as my guess is they don’t want to be stuck with any leftover inventory of round LED’s at the end of production so most likely stopped ordering the round LED’s early.

Ha! We'll probably crawl past each other on 880 doing 15mph.
I think I will be a 20. The two codes for their allocations were 111 and the 112 I got, but the CA didn't know the build week.
Apologies in advance if they hold the ship up to get mine onboard with yours
Time to de-link Google voice from my phone and start the month's long wait.

Thanks for your kind words and warm welcome. My son recently turned 16 and he "inherited" the 2006 E90 sport, MT that I purchased new. It was my daily for nearly 200k miles and I love that car. The F87 M2 is its replacement. I have no doubt that I'll put as many fun miles on my new BMW as I did my old one.

On a side note when my son took his driver's test in a MT the inspector at the DMV said he couldn't remember the last time a 16 year old showed up driving a MT. And yes...He passed!

Wow! Impressive. I put 170k on my first proper car (an '87 Honda CRX which is basically an engine, steering wheel, and gearbox, with a bit of metal around it) back in the day. As an 'adult' I haven't got close to that, great to get Jnr a car you know the history of.
How soon does he get to drive the M2C?

I'll let him drive it with me in the passengers seat...I'm planning on a Performance Center delivery so we might do the road trip back from SC together.

Is this confirmed? Dealership just told me that it does not come with build without exec package.

As stated and shown above, it's on the build sheet (whether you want to take that as gospel depends though) and at least two or more (IIRC) members on here are driving them now and have them without ordering the EP.

As mentioned above, if you are super keen on them and don't trust what's on a build sheet, for peace of mind then you're likely going to have to stump up for the EP I guess.

this is all anecdotal at this point, but there are many posts on here over the last 6 months to a year by people who directly state that they did not order the exec package, but still received the upgraded lights. the theory goes that BMW is not building enough of these cars to make it cost effective to change the build processes for the relatively small percentage of orders the do not include the upgraded lights.

i'm guessing there is no CA that will tell you that you'll get the light regardless of which package you order because (1) it's completely unofficial, and (2) they'd want the sales credit for the additional package.

BMW has also included Laserlights for free on early build 2021 M3s, including models received by forum members within the last couple weeks.

I don't know how you guys are pulling deals below MSRP. I talked to three dealers today (Colorado) and all are really firm on MSRP. I need to up my sales game.

Every dealer that offered a discount in California didn't have an allocation in "hand". Every dealer that had one wanted MSRP or more. I waited for about a week for one dealer to trade but got impatient and settled for $.

Production to be completed...

...by Wednesday, April 28. At least that's what BMW Genius says. M2C in SO, Exec, Sunroof, DCT, "black" wheels.

In DC area. Snagged an allocation at an in-state dealer April 2. Looks like this could be headed to a ship in Bremerhaven by May 2. Not bad.

CA says if all works perfectly (does it ever?), mid-May arrival at dealership.

At this rate, by then I won't have any fingernails left. And will have seen every YouTube video 20 times. And read every review until I've memorized them all.

Somehow, wasn't the same for our lot-bought Q5.

In the midwest BMW dealers don't sell as many M cars as urban "car-centric" areas. In the midwest they are conditioned to sell cars below msrp and probably don't keep up with the market. Basically a lack of supply and demand awareness. If they knew what they had they'd hold a msrp too.

If you can get one AT MSRP, is that still a good value? I'm trying to negotiate a deal at MSRP if they throw in these. https://www.shopbmwusa.com/product/6...---TIRE-SET-XL

That would be the same as a 5% discount. Highly unlikely.

Most people are paying MSRP for final production orders.
