Steering wheel stains

Hey folks,

Do any of you have experience with the following greenish marks on the steering wheel? It's just on that spot. It looks like wear to me (20k miles on the car).

Any tips/recommendations to fix it?

Thanks in advance!

So, you think it’s just dirt? I thought it was the leather coating that was wearing off.

You don't know until you clean it properly. And if it's the leather wearing off I'd say that it's probably your hands/how you drive, as I haven't seen this before, and there are quite a few M2's now running around with your mileage. At least you drive correctly! I see so many guys out there with their hand at the 12 o'clock position.

Looks like wear given how shiny the plastic trim right next to it is.

Try something like CG Sprayable leather, it's a cleaner/conditioner that leaves a smooth matte finish behind

I have to say that this picture was made with a flashlight, so it’s probably more shiny on the picture than real life. I have a Swissvax Leather care kit, I’ll give it a thorough clean and report back.

My wife's wheel gets like that, I think from lotion or makeup. In this case it cleans right off.
