Nice article. I'm sure all of the 6MT owners knew they were getting the slower model. I've only driven a 997 GT3 and a 996 Turbo, the GT3 manual is definitely better than the CS but I don't recall the 996 Turbo being spectacular.
Also, I may be in the minority but I don't mind the auto blip on downshift, in fact I turned traction completely off yesterday and forgot that I had to heel/toe taking my first corner. It may be more annoying on track or under really hard braking where you are going down 2 gears. |
