Rear Ohlins damper keeps clicking (problem)
Hi,
Have Ohlins R&T on the car for 4+ and about 50Kkm years, never touched the setup actually as it felt OK (was bought like this from previous owner about 3 years ago). Recently wanted to reset the clicks to check how stiff/soft it is and one of the rear dampers kept clicking (beyond 20 clicks...) never reaching the "end". The other damper stoped clicking at 10 clicks for full stiff, as were the fronts. Is it a serious problem? needs a rebuild? Would appreciate if someone can share some insights |

Probably the nut holding the adjustment knob that's come loose.

Ran into the same thing. According to Ohlins, the adjustment approach is as-follows:
1. Tighten to full stop (0 click) 2. Rotate counter clockwise (from bottom) to the desired damping (1-20) 3. Clicks beyond 20 don’t materially affect damping I reset all 4 corners and the car feels great (15 on the street). Good luck |
