His pics were taken with two different devices and each device rendered the colors differently... the higher res images looked more like what I've seen with my own eyes.

LBB reminds of the depth in the Atlantis blue color.
Works great on the M2!

Its not teal like many of these shitty cell cameras make this out to be. Its metallic blue with a hint of green. This is from a Nikon D750 with 24-70mm 2.8 glass set on neutral and no touchup from my trip to the Welt this year. Notice in the YMB M3 pic the LBB X6 in the background for comparison. Similar lighting conditions for both cars indoors under 3000k halogen lighting.

regardless of all this back and forth, the consensus of people who have gone out and seen THIS M2 agree that the car is more or less a shade of teal when outside in the slightly overcast conditions we all saw it in. It is a very nice looking and complex color, but not the straight blue that many people are trying to say it is or how it appears in a number of photos. I will be getting the M2 in LBB.
Additionally this dress is blue and black.

Here are some outdoor shots in direct sunlight at the UDE. This time with a Sony RX100III with 24-70mm Zeiss lens.
Metallic paints can color shift from indoor to outdoor. I see this as a unique feature over flat paints. Its a beautiful color in direct sun. |

However, I absolutely 100% promise you guys that LBB in no lighting condition will look as green and teal as that Honda from the previous page. Just no.

I like how people are citing camera models a pic was taken with as if that has any substantial bearing on how the color is captured and rendered without a known balance reference point.
Most people's monitors are crap and the sRGB colorspace is particularly limitied in the blue/green area of the spectrum. So go see LBB in real life or wait for a photo that has a colorcard in the shot. |

After seeing these pics of the X6M in LBB from multiple sources and seeing what the M2 looks like from various pictures in the wild, I think I'm 95% sold on LBB. My last step is to go see the color in person, which I am trying to do this weekend on an X6M. At first I wasn't keen on the teal, but it does not overpower the blue in any lighting conditions and adds a unique look which pairs well with the aggressive nature of the car.

LOL....settle down, I am SURE it looks great in person...It does look teal in one of those pics though...O, and that civic got me through college.
And personally, I would have loved an EB 1M, so I'm disappointed the M2 will not be offered in that color...for now. If I didn't have a VO 1M aging gracefully in garage, then I'd likely be in for a LBB M2, and maybe lighten the wheels to anthracite. Fav pic

I love how certain people want to keep debating with all of us who have spent way more time with LBB that it's green. It's not green. The Welt pics above provide yet another glimpse of the base tint, which is blue. It's called long beach blue. It's not green! There have been plenty more accurate pictures of this color posted in this thread than the very inaccurate front page shot. Someone even changed the color temp to bring it more neutral to help you guys out. If you base your color decision on those green pictures, well, just remember we tried to tell you otherwise! Lol. Maybe I'll take a picture of my X6M next spring with an M2 to see if they are different colors with the same name lol.
