Sorry if I've missed it elsewhere, but what have you been doing with it? Anything exciting yet worth sharing?

I wished I had jumped on to the board earlier..
The Melbourne FL dealer had a Alpine White delivered mid April.. Beautiful car and made me actually change my initial thought of ordering in LBB.. They had it on display for 2 weeks as it was already sold to someone who ordered in Oct 2015.. The car someone mentioned in Fields of Winter Park was a test car which they were not planning on selling and the only people being allowed to drive it were people on the allocations wait list.. When I went to drive it I fell in love with the LBB color once more and changed my build, on both lists I was on, back to LBB.. Tried getting on more lists but none ensured me more possibilities than what I had already by being on two lists.. Tried initially getting on Bremen's list but desisted when they asked me for 5k just to be on the list.. |

Went in to Germain over a week ago and they have 2 allocations that are not spoken for, still asking for $5k over. I told them no way and if they reconsider I will go with them. Vista is in lal-la land, they took my name but I don't expect anything there. Sarasota told me they had 18 people on the list and would be well into next year. So I am #3 on the list at Fort Myers. Experience there has been great so far. Hopefully I will get a November build, waiting on the Q4 allocations to come out.

I'm assuming yours is the LBB, manual one. I knew that was too good to be true. I don't understand why they put these cars on Autotrader, if there already sold.

They should know by the end of next week if they will have anymore allocations for the rest of the year.

That is disappointing if accurate. Was that Steve? When I gave my deposit, he said they didn't expect to hear until the 1st or 2nd week in September what the Q4 allocations looked like, but were hoping for 3 more builds.
oh well, Germain keeps nudging me but for the $5k over....i think i will wait.....

Luckily for me this turned out to not be accurate. Fort Myers got 3 more allocations for the last Quarter. 1 of them is mine, currently a week 43 build and If I understand the conversation correctly there may be 1 or even 2 available at MSRP.
