This would be more relevant to people who drive 6spd manual. Obviously if you drove DCT it wouldnt matter since the computer shifts for you and use can use the navi as the speedo. |

I still maintain that with the pre LCI or not it would need to be urgently fixed. The argument doesn't hold water. |

What if...the differential goes out in the pre-LCI?Many of those cars had to have the rear end replaced because of the famous "soda can crunch" noise. Who's to say that' one of the originals might not fail after the warranty is up...what if.

They all scratch as soon as you look at them, just name your make and model, it's the same story. Just like the piano black trim on the dash, it is a ridiculous material for a dusty car interior.

I thought this was just an LCI thing.

The dealer ran the VIN of both cars and the 2018's in service date was only 5 months later, so the CPO is effectively giving me 7 more months of warranty. Ultimately I was pressed for time, after my 135i was totaled, I needed a car sooner than later. |

Since this thread was brought from the dead I'll chime in with my preference:
I prefer everything about the pre-LCI interior including the old school gauges. I don't see the lights as significant improvement. Sure, the new ones will look less dated in 10 years but I really don't care. If I was looking for a used M2 I would focus on manual transmission, mileage, price, and MPE in this order. |
