I actually find the interior of M4CS to be much more refined and attractive than M4C.

I drove the M4 CS with CCB and Cup 2 tyres...what a beast of a car! M4CS only makes sense if you occasionally drive on track which I do (otherwise has no sense of buying it). It was fast and more of a beast then my M2. The M4CS felt more of a special car then my M2, but it also felt heavy and to big for my taste. My manual M2 was more playfull and more fun for me...even if it is slower. It is a cool car, but I would never buy a M4 CS...don't see the point for that amount of money...but I would love to drive one for a full day on the Nurburgring

I read many false perceptions in this thread.
The M4cs is indeed not intended for everyone. It is however still meant as a practical daily driver, but for the more track focused enthusiast. As with all M3/4 before it, it is meant as a dual use car, with the bias slightly more oriented toward track performance. I use my M4cs as my 4-season daily driver (I have two kids) and as my track toy. It sacrifices very little in terms of comfort and practicality. Except for a few elements, the CS is pretty much loaded with comfort amenities. I actually enjoy the lack of center armrest and the smaller door armrest for the increased elbow room to handle the steering on track, I don't miss the center armrest one bit for comfort on the DD. The single zone climate system is refreshingly simple and works perfectly fine. The lightweight door cards contribute to the enhanced driving experience due to reduced sound deadening. The heated steering wheel would be nice, but the alcantara one does not get that cold in winter. The only element I miss is the lack of comfort access. As far as performance improvements, the small increments in all areas in terms of tire grip, suspension tuning, power and aero all add up to a meaningful difference: I am 1.5 seconds faster at may local track on the same NT01 tires than my previous M4. Further, pretty good discounts can be had on the CS, I paid about 16k CAD (12k USD) more than a discounted CP (and I was an early adopter, I got mine in September last year). But like I said, the M4cs is not meant for everyone, but for those that it appeals to, it is quite worth it .

The silliest thing about the door handles is that If you look at the Porsche GT3 light door handles you will see the strap replaces the whole door handle. There is no metal door handle to open the door you just use the strap.
BMW?? They kept the metal door handle AND added the strap!!! *face in palm*

on the BMW the strap replaces the fixed handle that you would use to close the door. On the Porsche the handle is still there and the strap replaces the latching mechanism. Just a different approach..

The straps are a gimmick in the GT3 and M4 CS. It gives the prospective buyer that fuzzy feeling that these cars are serious business but the weight savings in the big picture are negligible in regards to performance.

Worst thing about these cars is no armrest, really bmw?
And i think no glove box either, wbich ive never uderstood from high perf cars, like glove box aint gonna make any diff to the total weight! Or at the very least have a option for buyer to spec these in or not |
