Yes on the AP contact. Just sent out a set yesterday to a fellow M2C owner. Just let me know when you are ready
Great, I'll send you a message when I'm ready to purchase. I'm sure it'll be sooner rather than later.

I went with AW for my M2C. It was originally going to be HS but our other 2 cars are silver and gray. I thought 3 cars in very similar colors would be a bit much.
Good choice AW is classy and Carbon bounces nicely off it. I have reflector deletes also if interested can make you a combo deal cut back on shipping and knock off some price.

Very nice!

After much deliberation I ended up going with all RW Carbon pieces--front lip, diffuser, and side skirts. I placed the order almost a month ago and everything arrived last week. In fact, I finally got my M2C today so the parts arrived before the car.

If I'm being honest the quality isn't 100% with some imperfections in the clear coat but it isn't a big deal considering they're pieces that go close to the ground. Nobody will be seeing perfect clear coat that low on the car and I'm sure there will be plenty of rock strikes and other wear & tear after a few miles.

Bonus: RW Carbon must have been really excited about my order because they mistakenly shipped a second set of side skirts and rear diffuser. Maybe they'll give me free stuff for notifying them of their error?

Legally you're not entitled to notify them of the error and it is yours to keep. At least in the USA. But that being said, it doesn't hurt to tell them of the error

Interesting, I hadn't thought about the legal side of keeping the parts. I guess my North Dakota upbringing keeps me honest even when I don't have to be.

Yea it's just consumer protection laws to prevent shady companies from sending people products that they never ordered and then billing the people later.

I definitely suggest bringing it up with the vendor. But technically they can't bill you for it, nor demand it back. Might get a discount on something else they offer that you might actually want.

Weirdly happened to me with amazon. Ordered something and got an expensive set of spatulas in addition to the item I ordered. I have no use for these so I called and they ended up giving me another year of prime, which to me is much more useful than cake decorating spatulas.

Yeah, I notified them of the error and asked them to give me a FedEx account number or send me shipping labels. All I got was a crooked cell phone picture of shipping labels with part of one cutoff. Great effort to get your shit back, guys.

I took your suggestion and asked if they would discount a carbon trunk spoiler. And they would! I was offered a deep discount of $7.50 after spending an hour of my time to return $1,100 in parts they mistakenly sent me.

I think I'll take my business somewhere else in the future...

This is the second time i've seen someone mention that the clear coat is not up to par. I wanted to get the front lip, MP style side skirts, the big diffusor (not just the regular replacement in CF), and the trunk spoiler.
That's almost $3K in parts. If the quality isn't there, I'm thinking I go another route.

That's why I went with Automotive Passion. They sent me upfront a set of carbon mirrors so I could see the quality of their parts.

The front lip I got from them is a Dry Carbon piece and the finish on it is flawless. I have a video around of a close up I did, will try to load it.

Edit, let me know if this link works:

Seems like AP has quality carbon for a company that makes reps but the front splitter looks kinda funny with the extra step. Wish it was an exact replica of the MP part.

Gotta respect your hustle and the companies you represent though: Turner, AA, AP, etc

I view it as you get what you pay for...and with all the track days and mountain bike racing this summer I blew the budget. I can go down the perfectionist route but I know all the pieces low to the ground will get a beating. For something like mirror caps, a trunk spoiler, or anything in clear viewing range I recommend going with a reputable brand with a high level of quality.

I guess I've been somewhat scatterbrained in my posts about the RW Carbon parts. Here's another thread where I gave a few more details about the quality of the parts I received. Feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions

20/20 hindsight, I probably would have gone with AP for the front lip and rear diffuser. The quality in your video does seem a cut above what I got from RW. BTW, thanks for getting those carbon arch guards to me so quickly--I received them this afternoon and they were promptly installed on the car. I somehow made it 243 miles on the car without any significant chips in the paint. But did I find a slight door ding this evening while waxing it? Yes, yes I did.

After I get a carbon rear spoiler I'll post some photos of the car. I think it's coming together quite nicely. The windows were tinted today and the tint guy even commented about how they, i.e. BMW, did a great job with all the carbon accents on the car. I took it as a compliment that I chose the right parts. I told him it was all aftermarket parts and showed him the defects--he said nobody will ever notice what I pointed out. Perhaps he's right...

You are welcome on the arch guards, glad they got there fast! And yes 100% of the times our brains make it look worse than it is. I am rocking a $200 AliExpress diffuser on my daily 135i and it looked amazing until the area around muffler lost all clear and turned color around the muffler. I really don't mind it cause it's my daily driver.

The extra step is what I liked because it made the lip have more depth. But some people definitely like a sleeker look like the MP. A lot of people want the same setup without winglets but I also like the sides extending. Before going with all Automotive Passion on my car I was working with my local dealer to order the lip and all other parts. They have always been amazing and give me great prices but I grew impatient with so many delays on the lip because of the quality issues BMW was having.

Economatic & BAN_M2C, thank you for replying. Glad we have this little community to work through where to spend out money lol.
Ban, you purchased all your parts from AP, did they give you a decent deal? Looks like they are located overseas. Was shipping a huge PITA? At the current exchange rate, their prices aren't any less expensive than the local guys but if the quality is there, this may be the best option.

I love Bimmerpost, got on here back in 2016 when I ordered the first BMW and have learned so much and have met so many great people through the board. I also shared some of my pain points in the past to help others not make same mistakes.

I did a bundle deal with AP to kill some shipping costs, their online calculator usually only calculates shipping for largest item but does not account for the added parts so you always need to contact them to get the right amount. Transit time is a hit or miss when moving overseas. When I got my lip I had two more local people interested in getting one also so we actually got 5 shipped over and AP was just having me reroute the lips to US customers to cut down some shipping price and also transit time.

I now have some of their parts here to be able to ship them on their behalf, that's why I sent Economatic some arch guards recently. Don't have everything they carry but have some of their M2 specific parts. If looking for something specific DM me and I can see what I can do for you.

I appreciate it. I'll be rewarding myself with some parts in a few months (have a ton of work stuff to do in the meantime and don't want stuff just sitting in my garage mocking me). I'll def reach out prior to pulling the trigger on parts. Thanks again.
