winter wheels - Apex ET30 SM-10 wheels
I know it's only August, but here in New England winter is never far away. I'm balking at the price ($343.20 per wheel according to the Apex website) for the Apex ET30 19x9 SM-10 wheels for the winter. Is anyone aware of any plans for a group buy for those wheels this Fall, or some other way to cut the cost. I know they're great wheels and well worth the price, but it's still a step up from the price of the Apex EC-7 ET31 wheels I used for winter on my 2017 M2 (those wheels and Michelin snow tires are now sitting in my garage needing to be sold since they won't fit on the M2C).
The total cost of the ET30 wheels and Michelin Alpin PA4 tires looks to be about $2,700... yikes!

I wonder what the BMW store Sun Motors in PA will sell 19" 641m setup for? They sell the 763m's for hundreds less than any place I've seen @ $3k shipped, that's 20% off list
I might get the staggered set 19" 641m package from them if it's priced aggressively Edit: I'll call Friday to compare with the apex setup/cost |

Pulled the trigger and ordered a set of the Apex wheels. I contacted them and the sale price is only good until early September. It is about $80 off each wheel... $1,372 for the set. I had Apex wheels as my winter wheels on my 2017 M2 and they looked and worked great, so....
Apparently, Michelin is having a sale at the end of August so hopefully can save a little on the Alpin PA4 snow tires. Geez, it's expensive driving in New England!
