Alignment M2/M2C for a lowered car...

What kind of settings are we looking at as the most favorable option?

for a daily driver? Can the stock adjustment even get to -2.6 in front w/o camber plates?

Thanks for the clarification! Is your M2 your daily? If so, how is the tire wear running that much camber on the street? How's the NVH with the GC plates?

I only track maybe 1-2x per year and am currently lowered on Eibach springs.

Yeah it's my daily. I got this camber/suspension setup only about a month ago so that's still tbd, but I don't see it being that much of an issue to be honest.

What's NVH?

Good to know... would love your feedback on tire wear and such after a few more miles.

NVH = Noise, harshness and vibration... I've heard camber plates can be a bit noisy; some worse than others.

Yeah man I'd love to let you know! If you have Instagram, I can message you on there

Ah got it. It's not bad. Definitely a bit noisier than stock top hats but only by about 10-15%. Barely even noticeable and ever since I got KW V3s, the ride has been much stiffer anyways, so it kind of feels like it's all part of the package lol

BeePee thread on the setup he got from Centre Gravity would probably be of interest as he has 0.5 degrees of extra format camber over stock, and MPS fitted.

Edit: This one.

Project_F87 is spot on for a comp alignment on 200 AA tires such as RE71R's.
If you wanted to swap out and run R comopunds then even .2-.4 more neg camber in the front would be optimal.

The general rule of thumb is 1 degree difference between the front and rear camber. 2.2 is about as high as you want to run the rears BTW.

NVH should not be a problem with fresh camber plates. Ground Controls are about as quiet as you will find. I've also run TC Kline's and Vorshlag's as well.
Camber plates have spherical bearings that will eventually wear out. The plates can be taken apart and refurbished with fresh ones.

The key to running that much Neg camber is to make sure your toe is set as close to zero as possible. Toe is a force multiplier on tires with lots of neg camber.

Expect 2-3K less miles out of set of tires if setup properly.

Another avenue is to set your street suspension up with 2,2 rear and 2.2 front with a little toe. Then mark them for track and street. On track days push the plates in to their track settings and don't worry about toe changes.
At the end of the day push them back to the street settings.

Best of both worlds.

YMMV,
HAZMAT

I just ran an open track day on 265/35/19 & 305/30/19 RE-71R’s with about 5 hours of aggressive seat time. I’ve worked to dial in the settings below over >50 track days, and wear was perfect this time out.

Alignment Specs (deg)- Track: Front: -3.1, 0.04 total toe in, Rear: -2.0, 0.29 total toe in
