Hey everyone, so this weekend I installed a new intercooler and charge pipe on my 2017 m2 (n55). Unfortunately though when I took off my intake during the job, the turbo inlet pipe became really loose. After investigating, I realized it broke off from the o-ring so there is no way to attach it back. This is my daily so unfortunately I will have to drive it until I can source a new one and install it. The pipe is still laying where it broke, so some air is still getting sucked past the MAF, but the car is running really rough at idle. Aside from the car running touch due to the turbo sucking in unfiltered air, can this damage the car at all? Also any recommendations on oem/aftermarket inlet pipes to replace with? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

MST V2 inlet - I would tape your current one if you can, otherwise change it out as soon as possible.

I’m in Alabama also and have a BNIB pure turbo V2 inlet pipe and an OEM laying around. I can meet you in prattville tomorrow. That looks about halfway between us. I’m going out of town on Tuesday and it will be awhile before I’m back.

I think they’re around 285ish from the company. I’ll do $200 and meet you, but like I said it will have to be tomorrow probably 1300 would be the earliest I could be there.

Since you can’t PM I can give you my email and swap #’s

Birmingham Road and Race or Mota Autohaus in Birmingham can assist should you need the support of a Pro wrench. That’s a bit of a haul from Barn Town but figured I’d mention them.

Mota is a legit installer. He’s handled both of my M’s from bushings to rod bearings, turbos to oil change! Solid guy and great work.

But again it is along way from the plains!!!
