Just got word my M2C was picked up from Port Hueneme yesterday morning and should be at the dealership tomorrow for delivery either late in the day or Friday! So excited.... this has been like a 10 month process for me since I initially placed a deposit to get on the waiting list, so I'm beyond ecstatic. I started to question what I could get for compensation due to this month long delay but I'm worried my excitement will overwhelm me and I won't fight too hard once I see it in person....

Your SA wont know much but they site is also not accurate with showing remedy availability. By putting down a deposit you can then call bmwna and tell them you bought the car and to please make your car a priority. Believe me I was one of the first to get my car fixed by staying on top of them

Dealership is full of buffoons, I did everything and then let them know that I handled it. Organized compensation, delivery date, just called them to tell them I had a new date and they needed to send new paperwork over.

PCD is scheduled for 6/21
I believe my PCD date of the 21st is still intact. See ya there!

When were you supposed to pick it up? If you didn't pay it in full already, they're not going to compensate you much - if at all. I know some people have been getting the M Performance floor mats

Excited to see your car, San Marino blue is my favorite color since technoviolet, I've never seen it on a non-CS

This is my exact same situation... week 17 build just got to Baltimore and the recall popped.
OK, mine finally went to "Remedy Available" today 6/13 after arriving at the port on 6/1.

Hopefully it doesn't take too long to get it fixed and on a truck. The probably a few days drive from Baltimore to MN.

Hopefully it'll be to the dealer by the last week in June? Then another few days for PPF and ceramic? Maybe I'll get to drive it on 4th of July?

Good to hear! I feel your pain. Maybe you can feel better about the fact that I'm also a week 17 build and you're a couple of weeks ahead of me.... So, it could be worse?

I also called BMW customer service today to talk to an actual person and they either would not or could not give me any information. I was told I have to work with my CA, end of conversation. My CA hasn't been given any information either. He didn't even know I didn't get my car at the Welt until after I got back when he called me to ask how our trip was. I talked to him today and he's out of the office but said he'll push for some answers tomorrow. To his credit, he offered to work on it today but I told him to enjoy his day off and deal with it tomorrow.

I've been understanding about this from the start but it's really turning into a shit show since the car hasn't shipped yet and I paid for it a month and a half ago. BMW has completely dropped the ball here.

What do you guys think, should I ask for some sort of compensation?

At a minimum I'm thinking the warranty on the car should start the day I receive it or get an extended warranty for free. I'm just not sure what else would be fair...
I have to retract my whining post and say things are looking good now. The MyBMW website and their automated customer service line are wrong. My CA found that the car is in transit and scheduled to arrive at the port in 3 weeks!

I'm taking delivery today at 4:15 PST! Yeah they're adamant it's not their fault (which I can understand) so they best the can do is 10% off any accessories or parts, or extended warranties etc. I didn't pay in full for the car, and it would only be compensation for the last month it sat at the port so when it's 10+ already, I'm not fighting too hard

This is how I feel. Now that I have an actual delivery date it turns out it is 8 weeks from the date I was supposed to drop off the car through ED, i.e. minimum of the typical 8-10 weeks. I'm happy and I'm not going to bother asking for anything. Though, it would have been nice to have accurate information from the MyBMW portal and their customer service line.

Talked to the CA today. Was just quoted 2-3 more weeks before the parts get to the car. So another month or so?

Jfc I really hope that's not the case, especially since mine only just arrived at port. I've got a feeling I'm going to be putting my snow tires on soon after my break in service... Awesome.

Wow it's amazing! Definitely worth the extra month wait. I was cruising in 6th gear (MT) and some guy came up on me I figured fuck it, let's see what it can do. Well he was a tiny blip in my rear view almost instantly, it was effortless in 6th gear. I can only imagine what a beast it would be in a lower gear at the optimum RPMs. And it sounds great, the ASD stuff is way over dramatized online I think it sounds great in sport plus, I love the burbles it puts the biggest smile on my face! Can't wait to get home to drive it today... you'll love it. I also got a deal on some PPF due to the delay.

Mine finally arrived on the truck yesterday. Just in time for a planned weekend trip. Here it is freshly washed at the rental cabin to get the bugs and grime off from the drive.

I have been at port since the 8th and "showing no remedy available." I just checked this morning and it went to no open recalls. I don't know what to expect at this point. I'm bringing my buddy to pick up his M5 tomorrow and will see what my dealer has to say.

No open recalls seems to mean the car has been fixed, as that was my experience and I believe most of everyone else's in this thread. Time frame has been about a week from "no recall" to delivery. You may have your car really soon! Let's hope, it's definitely worth the wait!
