First track day

Picked up my HS M2C in August. Manual. Just did first HPDE at Autobahn. First off, big thanks to windy city CCA chapter. They always do a great event. My last car was the F 10 M5. Obviously big difference with this car. I am a novice. Have done a fair amount of events over the past 15 years but never consistent. So take my comments with a grain of salt. I found the car to be great. A Tonna fun. Steering input in overall feel it was great. Wonderful throttle steer when needed. I found the brakes to be a little disappointing. Likely due to the stock pads, however these brakes are (I heard) the same iff of the M5 I had. Despite being a lighter car, the M2 seemed not to bite nearly as good. Overall though it was a minor issue and i had a great time. Did not mind the auto rev match. Most of the track is in 3rd and 4th. Did all turns in 3rd and was fine. Really confident car and a ton of fun.

When I read "a tonna fun" all I could think of is the SNL DA BEARS sketch hahaha. Congrats man!

I was there in my E34 M5 (only one there of course). I was lined up along the backside of the paddock with you - at the entrance to the north track. I met the guy with LBB M2C and the guy from Iowa with HS M2C as well.

I take ED of my M2C on 8/28.....not sure if I will get any track days in before winter as I don't expect to see it before Halloween.
