Any rubbing?
I just picked up a used set in silver with the M3/M4 tire spec that have some life left in them... was gonna use them as winter wheels but if they work without rubbing on the stock suspension I'll run the larger sizes for the season. Last edited by pizza240; 04-03-2019 at 08:12 PM.. |

Looks to be a personal thing, to me, those wheels look awful on the car.
it makes a otherwise aggressive looking car look dated, dainty, and feminine. I think the stock wheels bring the car into a much more premium & updated look. To each their own i guess. |

What with the black wheels!! And 788 are just horrible wheels. Maybe 763m silver painted.
437 m wheels are lighter, concave and give the car the stance. If they where not popular bmw just taken out of configurator. Mine are old school silver ones . Getting a track set silver from apex on 19 which are more than 1 M and m3 desing which are very cool. Some pieces are simply endless .

There is something about the 788M wheels that make the M2C look like a bigger car than the OG M2 to me. The 437M is simply a cleaner, better looking wheel that doesn't make that car look like a GT cruiser.

I dunno why BMW did not at least give an option for the 437s.. after seeing an M2C in person I was turned off by the wheels.. they just don't fit the car IMO..
also for anyone running the 437s that is lowered (springs or coils), are spacers needed for inboard clearance ?? I see so many people running spacers on their M cars. Sorry just not a fan of spacers for the purposes of just making the wheels stick out further. I prefer flush tucked look so just curious. I plan on picking up an M2C later this year and looking at lowering options and wheels to run.. thanks in advance. Last edited by Astro_train; 05-10-2019 at 05:25 PM.. Will it be safe to install spacers? I think 5mm will just do the job to look more aggressive.

Didn't like the 788M wheels in pictures. Didn't like them in person. When I ordered my car the dealer had a white M2C with the 437M wheels on on display. That was it. No matter how much they tried to sell me the 788Ms. Dated, they say, whatever... The 437M wheels look just right on this car. Clean and classic. Fit this car perfectly.
PS: Where I live you can spec either wheel. The 437Ms are cheaper if ordered with the car from factory. The 788Ms are cheaper if ordered separately, for whatever reason. The latter are a bit heavier and maybe just a bit stronger. I was thinking about maybe getting a set of 788Ms for winter, when the looks are less of a priority. Maybe.
