Blacked out air vent and fang look?

Does anyone have a pic or is good w PS to show a pic of how our cars would look with blackout wrapped vents with the air vents also blacked out? I see a number of m3/m4 that does this look and all come out pretty good.

Sterckenn and some other companies make carbon fiber stick-on fangs.

Purpose of fangs?

Anybody tell me the purpose of the fangs? I first saw them on the Bimmer M2, but lately have seen them on other cars. Are they splitters for brake/radiator inlets? Gather more air than just the bumper inlet? I know it's just a trivia question, but driving me as crazy as those two bumps on chin splitters on all the new cars with anything other than a smooth lower bumper. thanks

They are purely cosmetic. Have you noticed the title of this sub-forum?
