Dashboard removal?

Does anyone have any pointers or tips on removing the dashboard in our cars? I'm getting some panels in my car wrapped in leather and I'd really like to get my dash wrapped. I'm guessing not many people have done this but figured I'd ask anyway. I've taken the dash out of a miata before and it was a huge pain in the ass.

When you say getting your dash wrapped, do you mean in leather?

I think you'll find the experience is similar:

Maybe just get the trimmers to do the work.

Could you post the finished product. Will you be going Dakota leather and blue stitching to match everything else?

I'm going with a smooth finish 'nappa' leather. Everything else (seats and armrests) is getting wrapped in the same so it will match. My 981 has full leather interior and I want to replicate that in my M2.

nappa looks similar if not exactly the same as merino.

Nope not yet, though I did find removal instructions for the 3/4 series which should be similar to the 2.
