I wonder if some will move backwards now that someone is running around checking all the roofs

Have you called the BMW genius line? I'd suggest that and don't pick any options and a human will come on, ask what the production week is.

Thanks for the tip - was wondering how (or at what step) others were getting their production week. Now I need to locate the BMW Genius line...

Heard back from BMW Genius - build the week of November 16, 2020 (week 47). Looking like beginning of the new year for my delivery (assuming BMW remains on schedule).

I called bmw yesterday and they stated my car was still scheduled for production today. Just checked status and it's sitting at Quality check. Unfortunately it will miss the early boats to Charleston.

It will finish production today most likely. Did you call the 800 number? The phone tracking system gives an estimated completion date that is pretty spot on.

I did not recently. I talked to a human a bit over 2 weeks ago and they said a completion date of 10/12-10/16. So it's still holding close to that. Not overly worried. Won't be able to drive it when it arrives, so a week or two here there won't matter.

Quick question: if that would be the case (hypothetic - we don't know what BMW thinks about it), do you mind the possible extra time for your forthcoming M2 CS or, on the contrary, do you like the fact that this aspect would get some extra attention at the factory now that not all M2 CS cars have been built yet ?

I would allow whatever extra time BMW is willing to put into making the car as good and close to perfect as is possible. All the more with arrivals to the U.S. now occurring (at least mine) in the dead of winter.

You prompted me to call and check in. Mine is finishing up and will likely be at the port Wednesday or Thursday next week. If it misses the boat on Thursday, then I likely won't see my car until Dec.

I should jump in with the PCD delivery crew. It's only 1.5hrs away

Hoping mine loads on the Toronto or Honor for a ride.

I believe if it hasn’t switched to status 150 you can still make some changes.
