If you’re still thinking about it, the 911 might be gone. I lost out on two Targas before learning my lesson. When the third popped up that I wanted, I was ready to immediately make a purchase before it disappeared. Car arrived on a Friday, I put the deposit down Saturday morning after we agreed on price.

Thanks so much guys, it's the same price. I'm talking to 911 guy, see if the deal goes thru, otherwise I'll wait for another 911.

Glad you choose 911 GTS, simply it is much better car, more planted, better sounding, driving feel is much better, faster, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

sounds like you've already made your decision, so I;ll just say I agree!

m2cs is a very cool car, but if you've never had a pcar before you owe yourself the experience...

that said...I would actually take a 718 GTS 4.0 over a 991.1 GTS, it has the right size and is still NA with an awesome manual and you are getting a brand new car with warranty

the only thing a 991.1 GTS has over a 718 GTS 4.0 in my view (for street driving) is sound and looks....depends how much those matter to you

Other than that, putting a 2014 991.1 next to a 2019 991.2 only reveals subtle exterior differences and the interior is practically identical other than the steering wheel....which can be swapped to a 991.2 steering wheel if you want.

And I think the 991.1 sounds slightly better than the 991.2.
From my view no one takes a second look at a 911. They are everywhere. Not so much the M2 and even more the street presence of a CS.

No one ever looks at M2s.....most people don’t even know what they are except us fanatics. Everyone knows what a 911 is. Doesn’t matter which generation, you know a 911 when you see it. It’s an icon. You don’t have even say Porsche, everyone knows what a 911 is. Say M2, and except for us, no one knows what that is.

An M2, while a nice sports coupe, is pedestrian in comparison. It’s at a price point that is somewhat affordable and attainable much like a Corvette is. But would you rather have a Mercedes AMG GT C/R if you had to choose a front engined sports car or even an M4 if price were the same?

Can't go wrong with a 991 GTS. I was looking at them as well, but wanted a different driving experience. I wish I had picked one up s few years ago because the prices were a bit lower. Prices are holding strong now. I can't imagine you'll be disappointed.

I have decided to get 911 GTS. The one o was looking at didn't went thru, but I'll pass on CS. I guess having M2C I think I should change. Never had 911 before. Both are amazing cars without a doubt each in their own sense. Thanks for y'all input.

I think you’re going to love it even more than the M2, whichever. 911 you get. So many options. One of the great things about the 911.

Bingo. And that is why I would take the CS any day, at least as a daily driver. I'm one of those odd people who love Q-ships/cars. I think it is great that no one (outside of car enthusiasts) knows what the heck an M2 is and do not pay attention to it. Of course the M2C, especially in CS form is not exactly a Q-ship (especially compared to my E39 M5) but compared to a 911 it is...

Can't go wrong either way...

Seems like way more votes for the GTS. I know the M2CS will be very rare but the GT and GTS P cars are super rare too.

I don't think you can go wrong either way!
