I ask because I'm wondering why it lost the brake test while rocking carbon ceramic brakes.
Everything I've read is a choice between the Michelin PSS and Cup 2 for the M2 CS. Non RFT

As mentioned above, CCBs nearly eliminate brake fade but may be longer stopping distances when cold regardless of tire. And yes, a few runs at speed isn't enough to fully heat them up to max efficiency.

What a stupid video. Let's put the old generation RS3 against the brand new M2CS.

CCB's are great for reducing or eliminating brake fade at the track, but I don't think they do much for overall stopping power... especially on the street since they may have a higher peak operating temperature.
They save a decent amount of unsprung weight too

I ran 11.78 with a completely stock 2018 RS3 at New England Dragway.

Do they have top end power or is that because of the great launch?

Makes sense. I've always wondered what the M2C would run with drag tires or at least something that helps with wheel spin. Those 265s are tiny.

To the best of my knowledge, BMW has never equipped an M car with runflats.
2002 M3 had RF Michelins from
The factory if I recall correctly. I could be wrong of course. That was a long time ago.
No it didn't! The E46 M3 came with Conti's or Michelin's PS's. The E9X added Pirelli's. The F8X came with Conti's or Michelin's. None were run flats!
