Everything I've read is a choice between the Michelin PSS and Cup 2 for the M2 CS. Non RFT

As mentioned above, CCBs nearly eliminate brake fade but may be longer stopping distances when cold regardless of tire. And yes, a few runs at speed isn't enough to fully heat them up to max efficiency.

Makes sense. I've always wondered what the M2C would run with drag tires or at least something that helps with wheel spin. Those 265s are tiny.

No it didn't! The E46 M3 came with Conti's or Michelin's PS's. The E9X added Pirelli's. The F8X came with Conti's or Michelin's. None were run flats!
