Funny, coming from a tuned M3 with 305, I feel like the 265 on my M2 competition is just perfect for the street.

Too much grip kills the balance and joy of driving a rwd vehicle.

Really , i dont think the CS have to have a better audio system , you re not buying a luxury 7 series , you re buying a "race" car for the roads ! As for the tyres , come on ! You really think that you know more than the guys at M who tune this beast ? For everything , there is a reason ! As for the exhaust , small details , still prefer it as it is , you can always choose an aftermarket exhaust system ! The only thing for me to improve is the sound , i hope it had the sound of the M3/4CS , but since there is an OPF ..

To be fair even at the stock sizes the Cup2's are going to add significant change.

no one mentioned the extended wheel arches so far? I didn't see them on the press release, what are your thoughts why they added them? optical reasons or maybe to protect paint against tear/rubber from the wheels?

This is correct, and it helps that they are a pound lighter at each corner as well. But my point remains.

The Vette might, if anything, be too civilized. But the GT500 has got to be a riot every time you crack the throttle even a little bit. Sounds absolutely insane...

Rumor has it that some countries limit the tire extending past the fender. Add the little wheel lip to stick out past ther tire. My svr ftype has them. Not sure if this model had different tires for R and S, or if they all have them. They are goofy when pointing them out, but otherwise I never noticed them until the conversation came up on this forum.

That's just a larger weave, I have the same patterns on my carbon hockey sticks, an example is the older bauer vapor x60 sticks.

Damn that thing looks mean in black, I thought it didn't have full automatic climate control and had the basic unit like the m4 gts did.

I totally get the weave being larger. It doesn't match the rest of the CF weave on the car.

Does this mean we can order the high gloss interior carbon trim?

The CS should have every carbon bit available on it for that price... side blades, grill, everything... it doesn't.

I agree with everyone, larger tires are a must have.

Ridiculous price... I'll stick with my 20 M2C

Yeah the cs is pretty expensive.

Agree with both sides on the trim spec. At that cost, you should get the high end audio, all the ambient goodness, and matching wheel weights 🤦🏻
If it was truly an "experience" model.... hydraulic steering maybe?
Lol. This forum is my new go to social media site.
That's new 911 Turbo pricing in the US. Wow that's hard to fathom.

If I am not mistaken when this car was displayed at one of the auto shows the price announced was to be around $83K and was verified by Car and Driver & Motor Trend.

Someone help me here!
Yes the dutchmen are really getting fucked in the ass by the taxmen, when it comes to buying sportscars. Crazy!!

For all the people complaining about the ridiculous price. I took a quick peak in the Dutch brochure:

Base consumer price for the M2CS: €138.217
Catalogue price: €80.150
21% Tax: €16.832

BPM: €40.137

BPM is just a simple tax for the Dutchies, depending on the amount of Co2 production.

Yes, we get f*cked when buying a new car. Doesn't matter if it's a Dacia or a Ferrari.
