Greetings all.

I just secured a "ready to go" allocation on a 2020 M2C (ZMT, C1X, 29U, ZEC, MDOE). Order status 112. It should turn out to be a very exciting Independence Day for me this year.

My past performance cars include 2005 G35 6AT, 2006 G35 6MT, 2008 G37 6MT, 2013 ZL1 6MT and 2015 SS 6MT.

I never could consider owning a BMW M car before, but I've had varying degrees of interest in E36, E39, and E46. Ultimately, its the F87 that has finally pulled me over. I probably don't have to explain why, to anyone reading this.

Wed, 16 May - 182 handover to carrier/load assignment
Wed, 17 May - 190 dispatched from AG
Mon, 20 May - 193 arrived at port or compound
Mon, 27 May - 195 shipped from port of exit
Fri , 14 June - 196 shipment arrival
- VPC prep complete / carrier released (truck not assigned)
Fri , 21 June - Dealer arrival / dealer prep complete
Fri , 25 June - Delivery

Congrats! I have yet to see one in your area. My parents lives up there and I do visit often but haven't came across any M2C

I've seen a couple M2/M2C up here but only just. BMW owners in my area are probably the reason why this car is "special". I'll probably be looking up a lot of nostrils around Southpark. No matter. I'm not buying my M2 to impress...I'm buying it to enjoy.

Live in western burbs of chicago. Have HS. Almost never see an M2 and two days ago saw a SO M2C! We waived. It looked awesome

Congrats! I just picked mine up a week ago in Georgia and did a drive back to Virginia through Asheville and Blowing Rock. I love the color and have gotten several unsolicited compliments on it. You're going to love it!

Thanks for the congrats. I'm sharing my build timeline in my OP to help other folks cope with their own impatient anticipation or maybe to assure folks languishing in (airbag hold) that things are still moving.

By any chance, does anyone have any knowledge which plant is identified by plant code (7)?

Looking at my old car, my new car, and cars online, it looks like the Leipzig plant changed from V to 7 in 2020, since the 2s are made there.

Just to piggyback a bit on your thread I think we’ll be going down the assembly line at the same time. My order changed to “Production begins” on the same day as yours.
I called and spoke to a genius and she said my (our?) completion week is the week of May 12-18 which is just next week. Mine is being shipped to Florida when it’s all done.

The wait is agonizing though. Even though my PCD date is June 21st, I'm still impatiently refreshing the tracker site 30-40x daily, hah.

I know what you mean. I’ve been fortunate enough to order a few really cool cars but somehow this one I’m extra excited about. Can’t wait.

Mine just went into QC today as well! I was originally week 19 but it got bumped to week 20.

I have a SO in the Western Suburbs and haven't seen another one on the road as of yet.

Nice! I am week 20 as well. Where is yours being delivered? Maybe we’ll be on the same ship. Hopefully no airbag issue holdup for us.

I'll be the third owner of a SO M2C being built and completed this week. Seems like they are pups from the same litter. Looking forward to bringing this car to the midwest, all I have seen are HS and LBB around here.

My SO was a week 19 build it's currently waiting at port in Germany 🤗
