Once our cars have left the plant, it seems like the updates are a few days behind. Has anyone figured this out?

Mine just changed status to "Dispatched from factory" this morning. Is this likely accurate or a few days behind? I imagine BMW waits for info from shippers, etc. before updating their system.

Mine has been on "Awaiting Carrier Assignment" for a week now. Seems like that process is taking rather long as well.

I think it's accurate and then falls slightly behind as the status ages. Mine also went to Dispatched one or two days ago, which is cool and also sad at the same time since that's only about halfway through the process to receiving the car, lol.

Estimated completion date November 3rd. Which means somewhere between Nov 1-3.

As it gets closer and closer to arriving, the wait is getting more and more unbearable. I got all these parts in my garage just staring at me reminding me of what I don't have yet. haha.

Finally 'production begins' today! Not sure there's enough time to make the Wallenius Patriot departing 11/8, but here's to hoping

What parts? You mean this isn't the car you want?

Any car can always be made "better" and more individualized.

https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1760803

https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...3&postcount=32

M Performance CF side markers (painted MB bar)
M Performance CF kidney grille
XPH steering wheel
AutoTecknic steering wheel trim
MB painted reflectors
M1/M2 painted gloss buttons
Titan7 wheels and tires w/ TPMS sensors (for street duty)

What's not on those pictures are
Weathertech floormats
BMW OEM CF license plate frame
Turner Motorsport oil catch can
Carbonio no-drill license plate mount
likely more to come after feeling out the car.

It was much higher than I planned to spend, but I figured that if I got a M2C, I would've done a lot of that CF stuff anyway so I might as well just start off with it.

I didn't think I was really into the carbon fiber bits, but admittedly I enjoyed admiring the parts on my last car.

Yeah, because no one buys a car and then mods it.

It's not that. It's just that so many people bitched about the price already.

True. Was a hard pill for me to swallow too.
But, once I came to terms that I just LOVE the way it looks, LOVE all the little tidbits that make it different from a Comp and just imagined myself coming out to my garage to see this car all the time instead of a M2C...
I'm at peace with the higher price this car retails at now. (my wife might be a different story, but she'll come to terms with it too )

Did we ever get a confirmation on whether 2020 model could be produced in 2021 and still have a 2020 model designation? CS production goes through Dec 31 and 2021 C through June correct?

Sadness...... I was told to call back next week and maybe I would be assigned a boat by then. That would put me getting into the drivers seat much closer to December.
