M Performance Coilover and Ground Control install question
My installer is in the midst of installing MPC's and GC Plates.
He says that the length of the piston rod on the MPC's is shorter than the OEM shocks, and thus the nut connecting the camber plate to the shock is not turning enough threads (it appears it is only contacting 3 threads). Has anyone encountered this issue before? |

I would note that on my car the nut holding the OE shock to the F87 strut tops, subsequently the MPS to the F87 and now F82 strut tops, appears to have a similar number of threads protruding based on picture I took at the time. But maybe there is a separate issue with the GC camber plates?

What do you mean by noise isolators? There's a spring seat that the top of the bellows fits over, and some bonded in high density elastomer around the bit the strut shaft is fixed to, but I don't recall anything else?

Was it attached to the stock hat?
