I once thought that the aftermarket M mirror caps looked slightly awkward from certain angles, but the M2C OEM M mirrors look slightly awkward from certain angle also. I saw a 5 series at work with with aftermarket mirror caps, and they don't look bad in person. I guess the 2 series just looks weird in some pics with them, I still may try them out.

Just to clarify, these are not just different style mirror caps compared to the OG M2. The whole mirror housing including the body and mirror caps are inherited from M3/M4. In other words, whatevee you see on the M3/M4, it's exactly the same on the M2C.
