I had dye transfer from my microfiber towel into the clearbra on my hood trying to get a spot off (Blue towel on white car). Any way to fix this short of replacing the piece of clearbra?

I've really come around to the kenotek showroom shine but now out of the latest mystery box I have this fictech hydrostop. Is this working out better than the kenotek?

Also, what is the best spray-on, wash-off, sealant ala Hydro2 out there? Not really concerned about longevity, but really want as much gloss/depth as possible on a white car.

Thanks!

Learned a trick from a pro-detailer on youtube. He washes the rotor and wheels thoroughly then with the car still wet takes it for a brief drive of about 100 yards where he rides the brakes hard while accelerating enough to generate heat. Returns to the shop and dries the car and wheels and no rust. Has worked for me every time also. Hope this helps

it's a temporary solution that one of our customers came up with and it works well it won't keep the rust off but is perfect for what you are asking for.

Cool! I'll try this. If it's too much of a pain, I'll probably get the Hyde's.

Phil, I'm looking into purchasing the Rupes Ibrid. Curious if you prefer the short or longneck version based on your experience.

Phil,

I've seen you use Nanolex SI3D/SI3D HD on wheels. How does its durability and performance compare to a dedicated wheel coating such as Gyeon Rim? Thanks.

have you looked into any of them yet.

I would give Fictech Car Lift Rims a go, all of them will leave a little sheen behind, just make sure to buff them off well.

DetailersDomain Would you say it's safe or recommended to put a coating (CQuartz, Gyeon, etc) on 3M vinyl wrap? Thanks!

Would depend on what type of wrap and if it's matte etc.

What did the installer of the vinyl recommend?
