DTM Spielberg Austria Race - BMW Vs Audi Vs Mercedes
For about 40 years, Styria has been staging motor-sport events. Back in 1969, the circuit was opened under the name 'Österreichring'. A project that experienced many ups and downs, in the past decades, thus reflecting the track layout. Nowhere else, the DTM drivers have to cope with similarly steep uphill sections like at the circuit in Austria's 'Murtal' (Mur Valley). Since 2011, the series has been a guest at the Red Bull Ring - the official name since the circuit was reopened in 2010 - in every year. Spielberg's picturesque Alps panorama makes for a special atmosphere and the track layout for thrilling races. The past season didn't represent an exception: the weekend at Spielberg once again provided spectacular and electrifying motor racing.

Really great pics! The DTM is a greats series (not like the old day but still great to watch). Too bad Mercedes are pulling out next year but I'm sure the F1 effort is costing a whole bunch of money. I've not been to the 'Red Bull Ring' but usually get to the race at the Nurburgring and one of the races at Hockenheim every year. Always a great time but I would like to see the races go little long, maybe two hours, I know it is not an endurance format but 55 minutes is just too short.
