Feeler: M2C front lip spoiler for M2 OG

I still plan on buying this but like so many others my job and financial situation was at risk with Covid. But now things are looking more up so what's the latest on ordering this thing? If I buy in July what's the wait look like to get it shipped to the US? Jack I appreciate all the hard work you've done in trying please most of us and that's the sole reason I haven't even considered any knock offs.

Look what arrived!!

Not sure about the fit as I've not had time to put it into position on the car but I'm pretty happy with the finish.

I've only had time to give it a quick once over and I didn't see any imperfection. I'm a bit surprised that it's hollow inside but I can't remember ever seeing a front lip which wasn't installed so maybe they are all hollow. The one I received is slightly different to the last pic Jack posted, mine has 8 holes and the one he posted has 10...it came with 4 self tapping screws so I've got extra holes or not enough screws!

I would definitely add more 3m tape than that lol. Such a thin strip

For those of us in the US. I just received an email from UPS this morning indicating "Import Fees are due for this package". I wasn't aware that the $$$ shipping fee didn't take this into consideration. So now on top of the overall cost, I have to pay and additional $33.83. Jack@AUTOID

Oh ya, it will have a much tape as I can possibly get on it plus the four self-tapping screws that came with it and four more I'll find somewhere. Bad timing as I'll not have time to install it for about a month but at least it's here!

I'd check to be sure; I was under the impression that you could import something valued at under a $1000 for free as long as it was for personnel use and not for resale...

That's enough 3m tape. I wouldn't use the self tapers though. I would use a bunch of the plastic push rivets, or something with a type of washer between it.

Actually, if it's over $800 USD ( https://www.ups.com/cn/en/about/news...e-minimis.page & https://www.cbp.gov/newsroom/nationa...-increases-800), whether it's commercial or private use, then you get charged Duty Importation Fees. Now the "brokerage" fees you see is money that UPS actually profits from. Apparently there are ways to avoid it (google How to avoid brokerage fees), but at only $12, it's not worth the hassle.

Looks great! What did you end up doing for the install? Did you use the self-tapping screws? How many of the holes in the lip match up with factory bumper holes?

Received ours tonight. Makes sense why this thing cost so much to ship. The box is around 6 feet tall and 2 feet wide.
