Rack an pinion seal leak

I have a 2017 M2 I am running coil over's I was wondering if they could be attributed to the rack and pinion leaking. I checked to see if there was a recall for the rack and pinion but there isn't. I have 35k miles on my car and the ohlins were on after I had about 10k miles

I have not tracked my car and it's my daily driver. I scheduled an appointment to have it evaluated for warranty repair. I know they can deny the warranty and that is my worry. I looked up the price of replacing the part and it's around $2k not including labor. Any advice, has anyone had this problem. If anyone know's a mod friendly S.A. would be greatly appreciated.
