763m Wheels in Bright Silver
I wanted to share my latest mod, which was to add some 763m ///M Performance Wheels which I had powder coated bright silver metallic by Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists. Originally these were a set of matte black wheels ordered as part of the Summer Performance Tire set you could order at the Dealership that came with 4 staggered 763m Wheels/TPMS sensors/4 Michelin Sport Cup2 tires mounted, balanced and ready to install.
I really loved the design of the 763m wheels and preferred them, but not the new price of $6,OOO. My friend had purchased this set and no longer owned his M2C so I got a deal on them which was pretty fortunate. As much as I loved the finish on the Matte Black wheels, they just seemed to disappear into the wheel well which I felt was a shame. I didn't think the frozen gold looked right with the Alpine White and no other color options, other than gloss black or gray, were available. I asked my friends at Alloy Wheel Repair for a quote to completely strip and powder coat the entire wheel, which was $165ea. This included all the work on the wheels, removing and installing the TPMS sensors and then mounting and balancing the new Michelin PS4S's I had ordered in 255/275 sizes. I felt this was pretty darn fair and only took them 3 days from drop off to pickup. I am very happy with the results. Here are a few pictures. Last edited by F87 S55; 06-06-2022 at 11:35 PM.. ///M Wheel stickers included
Thanks for the reminder, I forgot to mention that they offered to install new ones or hand me 4 new ones for me to install. There was no additional charge for the 4ea. ///M stickers which I thought was an additional bonus. I just took them and installed them myself.

Yes, I have the stock suspension on the car. I have a set of gently used Ground Control Camber Plates I am looking at installing, but am looking at options for either lowering springs or coil overs and will install all at once. I don't want much of a drop, and don't want to sacrifice compliance for aesthetics. It already rides fairly rough, but its totally livable. Lots of options, just need to narrow it down.

Thanks!! I had $2,200 in the used wheels and TPMS sensors and another $700 to Powder Coat. I don't feel that was too crazy as they are pretty expensive from the dealership, and not in a color I wanted. Add another $1,180 (after rebates and discounts from Discount Tire Direct) for the 255/275-19 Michelin PS4S tires and I still feel good about $4,080 all in.
