Finally 153 entering assembly line! I guess the body was drying after being painted. Looks like I'll hit the est. prod. date, which is great b/c my CA's screen showed...
Est. Prod. Date: 5/16 and Act. Prod. Date: as 5/20 Guessing it will come of the line tomorrow! EDIT: sweet assembly is done! STATUS: Awaiting carrier assignment If it gets to the port tomorrow maybe I can make the 5/18 ship too! Last edited by omasou; 05-16-2019 at 11:21 AM.. |

Nice to see things moving along for everyone. Mine went through the line same day. I was able to see the status updates on My Garage. Try checking in a few times.
My car hit the port yesterday. Waiting for a ship now. There is one leaving on 5/18. Hoping I get on that one. |

I'm awaiting carrier assignment so we might be on the same boat but yours is a few days ahead so can't be sure.
Edit: hopefully not assigned to the Tita Nic. Last edited by silverds; 05-16-2019 at 07:23 AM.. |

Since the thread is idle and the nail biting has likely drawn blood, I thought I might share some refreshments. I'm just speculating for entertainment so please don't expect any measure of accuracy.
Here's a near real time (3-5 min delay) webcam view of the Auto Export Docks at Bremerhaven. The ship in view is Morning Post (E) which moored Saturday evening after sailing from Wallhamn, Sweden. A ship you can't see because it's obscured by the Morning Post is the Morning Cornelia (E) which has been moored since Saturday morning after sailing from Emden, Germany. The Figaro (WW) left the port Sunday afternoon and is steaming to Zeebrugge, Belgium and the Faust (WW) left port enroute to Gothenborg, Sweden. The Faust is scheduled at the following ports: New York, NY on 05 June Brunswick, GA on 08 June Charleston, SC on 09 June The Figaro is scheduled at the following ports: Baltimore, MD on 01 June Savannah, GA on 04 June Manzanillo, Panama on 08 June I can't be sure if any of these ships that are underway or currently moored is our transport, but if we haven't already been loaded, I expect we'll be loaded sometime during the coming week or two at most. By the way, I'm pretty sure the bridge crossing the frame is Alfred Wegener Strasse because of the broadside view of the Faust (when it was there) and the stern view of the Morning Post and some other details in frame. Some other notes, WW has removed the "Search by Cargo ID" for security reasons so I don't think you can track your car by VIN on their tool anymore. See Details here. Just FYI If it's been over 24 hours since my last edit of this post, assume any ship info is no longer current to the webcam view. Last edited by silverds; 05-19-2019 at 06:41 PM.. |

Congrats. The Faust is run by WW so if you can get your Bill of Lading #, which I surmise your dealer has access too, you'll be able to see the VINs that were boarded.

Use these links to confirm the ship. Previously the ship had to be out of port 2 days before you could find which ship has your car and they use to call it Cargo ID, so let us know which field works.
Wallenius Wilhemlsen = https://www.2wglobal.com Then Online tools | Track & Trace https://www.2wglobal.com/webapps?fra...uickSearchPage I'll leave the rest as an exercise EDIT: who am I kidding, I need to know this anyway for my M2C that's about to come off the line. started here -> http://www.kline.com led to here -> https://www.kline.co.jp/en/service/car.html led to here -> http://www.klineglobalroro.com/index.html Not sure if this will work but found it after clicking around a bit... Kline = https://apps.klineglobalroro.com/tracking/search Weird when I search for NYK it looked as if NYK and Kline are the same company but there's two different track and traces to try. NYK = https://www.nykline.com/ecom/CUP_HOM...?sessLocale=en Once you know the ship then you can have fun trying to track it https://www.marinetraffic.com/ You may want to... Create a free account. Create a fleet, e.g. My M2 Add your ship to the fleet so you don't have to search for it again Customize your notifications. Previously, I had mine set to email me when the ship departs and arrives at the dock. |

Since I'm supposed to offload at VPC Brunswick (SSIPOA), I am hoping to get on the Integrity which moored at Bremerhaven this morning and is scheduled at Brunswick on 08 Jun. Otherwise, maybe the Glorious Leader or the Independence II, both of which offload at Brunswick the week after.
My CA gave me one last chance to elect PCD which sounds great except it will delay my delivery a couple weeks. No thank you. Last edited by silverds; 05-21-2019 at 05:09 PM.. |

The Glorious Leader left Bremerhaven on 6/22 with 16 BMW M2 Competitions and should arrive in the NY/NJ VPC according to Wallenius Wilhelmsen on 6/9.
P.S. everytime this thread comes up and I see that picture, I can only imagine how proud her dad must be. Last edited by omasou; 05-23-2019 at 10:05 AM.. |
