Decent front mudflaps?
I've seen the previous threads but has anyone found a good solution for front mud flaps? I'd like to limit the amount of crap that gets thrown up against the rear and side of the car but there doesn't seem to be much if any options.
Thanks Phil |

This guy does make carbon "mudflaps" and they seem cool. https://euroboutique.us/collections/...8x-rock-guardz But a more sculpted version would be really awesome. Last edited by M2OG; 12-21-2017 at 08:21 PM.. |

I was going down the path of a solution for this but never got around to doing it.
Involved fitting a flat set similar to those carbon ones but made out of plastic in about 1/8" thick. Would be great for avoiding rock chips while tracking. I still have them, just need a template made to transfer the hole locations to the mud flap.

I always liked the Corvette style mud guards. I think that design would work well with the lines of our cars. When I reached out to vendors they either weren't interested in developing the parts or just didn't have the time due to existing projects.

I'd like some colour coded moulded ones but cant find anything. Anyone tried fitting some 2 series flaps? Prodigy, I think they look ok, I've been think of something similar made from kaylan, once on the car I don't think you'd notice them that much.

Says on the add a set of 4 so must include the front ones. If it protects well and looks decent then I think that's not too bad. Shipping/tax would make it pricey for me though. I'm going to try and get some better pictures from them. |

Says they use factory mounting points, would be nice to see a schematic. I've decided to go PPF, car booked in for 15th Jan. At least I'll know it's fully protected so peace of mind.
If they send me any pictures or more details I'll let you all know. |

This is the best I've managed to get out of them. They sent me a couple more photos but I can't see how to post on here but they don't help much. So you'll have to make your own judgements but I'm definitely out.
"Let me try and describe the pieces they are made of pure carbon fiber and have a thickness of roughly 2-3mm so it's very strong but can be flexed as needed to fit to the bumper shape. The exposed carbon side has a clear coat for protection and beauty and the other side is sprayed with a rubberized spray to absorb rocks and deflect. They are held in place with a combination of screws and double sided tape up front and the rear is a comprehensive use of 3 metal brackets that we supply and uses stock mounting points (8mm factory bolts for the top two)." |

In the meanwhile has anybody bought the carbon mudflaps from euroboutique and can provide some pictures? I am especially interested as they say the fronts are mounted with double sided tape and a single self tapping screw that is screwed into an non OEM point.
