Trying To Decide Which Front Lip I Should Buy
They both cost the same. Install on the Mode Carbon seems a little easier as there is no reinforcement plate to attach, but the plate could help the lip be more structurally solid at high speed. For the rkp lip, if i were to buy it I would not be buying the lower splitter, only the lip. Anyway, I'm torn between the two. They're both gorgeous. Which do you like best?

MC looks good from all angles where as the RKP is a bit ugly looking when you're standing right over it as it doesn't extend all the way out to the sides like MC. This angle really shows that: |

Wanted to like the lips on the market. Don’t like any of them... now that the car is lowered to lowest setting on M perf coils....going to leave it alone until there is some amazing lip out there.
You can get a replica of rkp at rw. Car. Bon * for like $700. So I vote for neither. |

I'm definitely concerned about dropping $1300 and then fucking it up in a week going over a speed bump or up/down a steep driveway. |

But....you'll pay $150 for a fog light switch? I guess we all have our priorities.

Since i'm not planning on moving or raising my ride height, i'd prefer to keep the cost of my lip down (as much as i can) since i know it's only a matter of time before it's scraped up or broken. The fog light switch on the other hand will last the life of the car, so i think it's a worthwhile investment. Last edited by AndrewC1989; 12-21-2017 at 04:43 PM.. |
