Chin spoiler install question
I bought a Maxton Street Pro Front Splitter for my M2C and noticed that it covers four of the bolts that hold the skid plate on. Is this a common issue?
I have been trying to add a link to a picture of the splitter installed, but it is not working for me. https://www.maxtondesign.co.uk/body-...ter-bmw-m2-f87 Thanks. Jef Last edited by GreyRS; 02-27-2024 at 10:41 AM.. |

Looks like alot of holes to drill. Are you forward enough?

No, it would not be set too far back. Per this attached picture (from Maxton's site/not my car), you can see just how much it covers. Also, the holes for the mounting screws are pre-drilled.

The lip I just got uses the factory mounting points. Does yours have to sit on the factory mounting bolts and still make more holes?

None of the pre-drilled holes line up with factory mounting points. The bolts and washers in the picture I posted are in the predrilled holes.
