The car has already depreciated and the misfortunes that you mentioned, rocks and flats, can happen in any vehicle regardless of price.

Instead make sure you don't follow too closely (rocks) and stay out of new construction area (flats).

Sh*t happens, so just enjoy the ride and focus on the good rather than the bad.

Do you find the two interconnected? Did you feel better thrashing the cars as you got more financially stable or is it something you go through with every nicer car over and over again?
Now that it's done, the best bet is to get some peace with the decision and enjoy it to the fullest.

I still feel that way even with the old stuff I own, and even though I am at a very comfortable spot in my life financially! I've blown up a few motors/transmissions/rear diffs in my life, it's always a "Well, crap, that's gonna be expensive." moment. And then it gets figured out and you get through it.

2019 BMW F87 M2  [10.00]
I went from a G80 M3 to a F87 M2 Competition miss the low down torque and the quick downshifting auto but financially it was a sound decision. I was too scared to track the G80 but not the M2 it’s more nimble.
