Amplifier splash guard

Hi all, does anyone know the build date from which BMW started fitting the HK amp splash guards?

Some time mid 2018 or later iirc. It’s a cheap piece to buy if you need it.

Mine's a Dec 2018 and no guard.

£7 for genuine one.

It's an easy job to look, try it.

Without it the water goes straight in the amp....

Got my guard today from BMW £7.65.

Fit it tomorrow if it ever stops raining...

That was a good price.
I paid around £13 which included a discount from Cotswolds!

I did go and collect it from the parts dept, so no shipping. Good excuse to nosey round the new M2s and 3s...

Must say the M2C is still better in my eye...
