Hi all,

I have a 2019 M2C dct 87,000 km. I started to notice a weird rattling sound in the car when accelerating in 4th and 6th gear only.
The noise is only there when applying throttle, when I shift from 4th to 5th the noise disappears and comes back again in when shifting to 6th and applying throttle.

I took it to the dealership last week and they said that I need to change my entire dct gearbox!!! (They still won’t guarantee that changing the gearbox will fix the issue)

I don’t think the entire gearbox needs to be changed, there is no issue with the performance of the car or when shifting gears. Only this annoying rattling sound in 4th and 6th gear.

Does anybody have a similar issue?

Need your guys help before replacing the gearbox!!
