Unhappy Weird Brake Noise

Hey guys, had a weird experience with my brakes on my 2016 F87 yesterday. Had been driving normally for about an hour prior to this, braked relatively softly which caused a loud noise and slight steering veer - see video

The "error" noise was just me instinctively fiddling with the handbrake.

The noise continued although less intensely when braking moderately/hard but not when braking softly for the next 4-5 mins. It seemed to be coming from the front right but hard to say for sure.

The problem has now completely resolved when going for a test drive today.

No issues with the pads/rotor thickness when last checked at the mechanic and had brake fluid flush ~6 months ago. Brakes are stock.

Has anyone had this issue before or have any thoughts about what might've caused this? Everything looks fine from the outside but I'm yet to take the wheel off and start disassembling the caliper

Appreciate your thoughts!
