Subtly push the throttle into slightly higher revs to help toning down the deep 'cold start' bass sounds.

Garage List
Either tune it with a flash that provides a cold start delete or put your foot on the throttle after you start the car inorder to raise the rpm's a little. Hold it there for 15 -30 seconds. A valve controller would also help.

I would ask them what's wrong with their babies when they cry incessantly and wake you up...

God bless the N55!

if you want to stay stock best thing you can do is press on throttle lightly and hold rpm at around 1200-1400 rpm for 30 seconds or so before you take off

Cool thanks guys. I think pressing on the throttle is the best solution. I agree, N55 sounds fkin amazing.

You can turn off cold starts through bootmod3 (This flash costs 600$ but has a lot more benefits). It has saved me from turning on 3 of my neighbours car alarms while starting her up. Currently a normal startup with a warm engine is slightly louder than a cold start

Yeah either the light throttle application technique or get a flash tune to remove the cold start.

I remember a few years back there was talk about creating a free flashing solution for these cars but I do not know how far that has gotten, nor its ability to flash these cars without an ECU unlock.
