Upgraded Turbo Owners Roll Call
I'd like to get an idea of how many people have upgraded their turbo on their N55 M2 and what they're running. If you have an upgraded turbo, please add the following:

Pure Stage 2. Car is FBO with 2 step colder spark plugs (No cai), BC coil overs, also the first M2 in the USA with Pure full turbo inlet pipe - shout out to @Soofy619!
Not dynod yet 18psi MHD Custom Flash CA 91ron with 3 gallons of VP 100ron Want to upgrade to Xdi ASAP! No Meth Install performed by 2M in San Diego CA About 3k on turbo setup As I did the opposite of what most M2 owners are doing (power before cosmetic mods), I really want to do the HPFP upgrade, its just very costly and I want to add some carbon to the exterior and maybe new wheels soon. However the car really needs better fueling and while the turbo made a HUGE difference in overall power and top end grunt, I'm not getting the most out of this setup with the stock fuel pump. Car runs amazing in the cold. Curious how the OP likes his current setup? Debating LPFP, Precision RW coils and going full E85. Once I do the fuel pump, might finally buy a cat back exhaust as I'm running catless dp with the oem catback. Wheels, cf body kit, some subtle vinyl accents and ill probably be done with this build.

You really find that you need that much meth though? 100% meth mix, port injection, plus charge pipe injection. Seems over the top to me. |

The chargepipe is just a CM5 nozzle that I'm using so the DME sees the IAT drop when the spray is on. Doesn't really add much fuel volume.

Endeav and OP:
Really would love to hear more about your high-pressure fuel pump upgrade and why you were wishing you had it done sooner because I feel that way too lol. |

That being said, it did NOT do a good job in situations where you wanted instant throttle, instant boost, at high RPM. The methanol was just a little too slow to kick in and start spraying and the HPFP would ultimately crash. It wouldn't crash so bad as to throw a code because by then the methanol would be flowing, but you could hear the car sputter as it begged for more fuel lol. With the new HPFP I can basically drive the car much like I did when it was on the OEM turbo - downshift to high RPM and mash the throttle to lay a nice patch of rubber lol.

Sorry for the double post but I updated my original answer to the questions. I completed my dyno today and made 529 wHP and 542wTQ.
Check the build thread for a video!

Curious to see if upgraded turbo owners feel the car pulling like the M2C does at high RPM

Torque also comes in more gradually and linearally on his M2, compared to M2C. Which is good for not spinning the wheels and putting the power down. But all that depends on the tune. You can tune a S55 to bring on torque in the same way. Also the torque drops off more rapidly in the M2C, while endeav's holds torque for much longer. That being said, S55 is still capable of making more power more cheaply than N55. |

Not after power here. Looking to fix the torque curve.

1. Dinan "Big" Turbo(not that big at all)
2. 371whp/446lbft on a Dynapack 3. 17.5psi around 5k and tapering to 15 by redline 4. Custom tune via Cary Jordan/BM3 5. California 91 octane 6. XDI HPFP-60(Overkill but I was future-proofing) 7. Currently installing a meth kit 8. Mechanic friend of mine did the install 9. about 5k Feels like stock, just, more(way more midrange punch but I attribute that to the tune). I hope with the meth I can hold more boost until redline. The way it is now, even with the boost tapering the dyno plot more or less plateaus after peak power(so in theory not tapering boost will yield more power). If I was to do it again I would go straight to a stage 2 or 3 setup but that said I don't regret it. Still planning on going with a larger turbo one day but for now the car feels really great and is a ton of fun. Has enough power to hang with my buddies M2C. Soon I'll be switching tuning platforms and re-tuning the car for meth. Just waiting to finished the meth kit install and get a few other things flushed out. 15% deduction would put it at 622hp, but yea. Doesn't seem that far-fetched once fuel pump and meth is added. Though he's running quite a bit more meth than most would.
