Questions about KW HAS kit and similar adjustable springs
For someone looking for a conservative drop, the HAS kit seems to be the perfect choice.
I'm talking about daily driving on good roads (south FL), nothing crazy, no tracking etc. I've been trying to read up on how these adjustable springs affect the life of stock shocks. I've come across occasional posts stating their shocks wore out in a few thousand miles, and others with 10k+ miles. In general, how much life can you get out of the stock shocks with HAS kit with normal driving? Thank you in advance. |

There seems to be large varying life with users of springs on stock struts. There is no one definitive answer. I've seen reports of people who have had leaking struts after a couple thousand miles and others still running fine 10k miles later. It's really hit or miss but one thing is for sure:
Springs will shorten your lifespan |
